The Village of Oak Brook contracted Burke, LLC Design/Build to replace the existing two-lane bridge in the Village that carries Windsor Drive over Tollway Connector Ramps M and N between I-88 and I-294. This project involved replacing the bridge structure, deck and surface with a new four-lane bridge that is separated by a median. The roadway connects 22nd Street (with average daily traffic of 25,500 vehicles) and York Road (with average daily traffic of 15,200 vehicles) to the businesses along Windsor, Bliss and Swift Drives. This project accommodated the needed widening and addressed the roadway condition of Windsor Drive due to the high volume of traffic traveling along this important commercial corridor.
