CBBEL completed Phase I and II engineering for this modern single-lane roundabout. Phase I Drainage Engineering services included evaluating existing and proposed drainage conditions, as well as determination of depressional base flood elevations using XP-SWMM. These findings were used for sizing drainage structures and setting roadway profiles. Phase II services included preparation of drainage and erosion control plans, specs and estimates, as well as permitting under Lake County’s Stormwater Management Ordinance. Compensatory storage volume and stormwater best management practices were incorporated to protect existing wetlands.
