CBBEL completed a feasibility study and Phase I Engineering and is currently preparing the Phase II design plans for this CMAQ funded pedestrian bridge over Randall Road. The new crossing will improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists crossing Randall Road, provide a vital link between the Woods Creek Bikeway and the Stonegate Bikeway, improve operations at the existing traffic signal by eliminating the Randall Road pedestrian phase, and encourage the use of non-motorized transportation to access Jacobs High School, Sherman Hospital, and commercial areas along Randall Road.
