The Olde Western Avenue Streetscape project consisted of revitalizing the historic Olde Western Avenue from Canal Street on the north limit to 1235th Street on the south limit. The streetscape incorporated many of the historic features such as reusing the brick pavers which were buried during previous paving projects, and decorative lighting to mimic the historic poles. The project also included new curb, sidewalk, decorative lighting, roadway resurfacing, tree grates, trees, and other signage and landscaping features.
