As part of Wilmette’s Village Stormwater Project, CBBEL developed solutions to widespread flooding throughout the Village and its parks. The construction of a 20.2 acre-foot StormTrap detention vault and optimized sewers throughout neighborhood streets was the first phase in providing flood relief to area homes.

Other work necessary in completing the project included installation of an 8” water main, resurfacing of existing pavement, pavement reconstruction with full curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement and ADA upgrades.
