CBBEL worked as a subconsultant to Teska Associates on the design of the Evanston Skate Park, a vibrant community gathering space along the North Shore Channel. The custom 10,000-square-foot park includes a bowl, quarterpipes, steps, ramps, and steel elments to provide a variety of options for skaters.

In addition to skating infrastructure, the project also included a custom shelter, LED light poles, rain gardens with native plantings and community-centric amenities like benches, picnic tables, bike racks and public toilets.

Close coordination between the City of Evanston, the consulting team and the contractor was a key factor in delivering the project on time and budget.
