CBBEL worked with the City of Evanston to resurface nearly two miles of Chicago Avenue and Sheridan Road, including the addition of ADA improvements, traffic signal improvements and a protected bike lane.

Just under 0.5 miles of Chicago Avenue was reconstructed, including HMA resurfacing with new traffic signals and a protected bike lane, while Sheridan Road included PCC reconstruction with new protected bike lanes and traffic signal improvements, as well as 3,000 linear feet of water main replacement. Additional work included new traffic signals at four intersections, ADA improvements, storm sewer replacement, and landscaping.
