CBBEL’s Internship Program provides students an opportunity to explore their career interests, expand their professional network and bridge the gap between the academic world and the working world.

Details

CBBEL’s Internship Program is designed to give interns the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional environment as well as acquire new skills through continuous on-the-job training from CBBEL engineers.

The Internship Program is centered on three initiatives that enrich an intern’s learning experience.

Mentoring Program

One-on-one mentorship with CBBEL engineers allows mentees to gain a better understanding of their profession’s culture, appropriate behaviors, attitudes and protocols, while building their professional network and obtaining a greater knowledge of career success factors.

Software Training

With the rapid pace of technological change in the construction and engineering industries, software training is more important than ever. CBBEL interns get trained on the latest software, including Microstation, Geopak Road, Projectwise, Autoturn, Hydroflow, HY-8, Paydirt and Eaglepoint.

Site Visits

Our interns get hands-on experience with ongoing and completed CBBEL projects, visiting a new project site each week to explore how different disciplines come together to deliver a comprehensive solution. These site visits get our interns out of the office and into the field to demonstrate how classroom lessons are applied to real world engineering projects.
