The project consisted of the demolition of an existing brick and CMU control building and a fiberglass “half bury” generator enclosure at an existing City of Wheaton sewage lift station. Burke, LLC Design/Build provided design and construction management services for the construction of new precast concrete building, housing a 60KW generator, and new pump controls.  New underground electric and natural gas services were installed on the site.  New pump discharge piping and guide rails were installed in the existing wet well, and a new bypass pump manhole was installed adjacent to the wet well.  Bypass pumping was provided during construction.
