A Message from Christopher B. Burke

October 4th, 2016

Villages, towns and cities are always looking for ways to increase traffic to their business districts, making the area more appealing to drive customers to business and sales tax revenues up.

In this edition of our newsletter, you will read about a few municipal streetscape projects that improve not only the aesthetics of the towns, but aim to make it easier and more enjoyable for residents to visit the city center.

These enhancements help to transform communities by making them more walkable, safer and more visually appealing. We look to give residents pride in their town and a place to gather for important events.

It’s important to realize, however, that not all of the work focuses on the look of the area – in fact, some of the most important enhancements are those you might not even notice, like improved curbs and gutters, bringing overhead utility lines underground, and improving drainage systems.

By paying attention not only to the things you see but the things you don’t even think about, the CBBEL team makes dramatic improvements to municipalities across Illinois.

CBBEL is proud to engage in streetscape projects for municipal clients that improve not only the aesthetics of the towns, but access to city centers for residents.

For more information on these types of projects, continue reading and visit us at cbbel.com/services/design-build.
